Author Bio

Dave Costello is an award-winning writer, editor, photographer and filmmaker. He is the author of Flying off Everest, and is currently a senior editor at Soda. He is a former senior editor at Alaska magazine, and he has been published in Outside, National Geographic, Backpacker, Rock & Ice, and more.

Billi Bierling is a renowned mountaineer with special experience in high-altitude walking. Based in Germany and the Himalayas, Billi leads mountaineering treks and writes regularly for German, English and Mepali press, including Alpin and Merkur.
