As a lifelong Sherlock Holmes fan, Encounters was a delightful escape - Celebrity Cafe
I highly recommend this collection to anyone who's a fan of Doyle's work or even just a fan of mysteries in general - 8 Days a Geek
Overall, fans of Holmes would do well to check out this volume. Recommended. - Fandom Post
A thunderously good time. - Criminal Element
I tend to avoid Sherlock books written by other authors because I usually find myself flinging the book away with disgust. This collection is nothing like that. The fact that it has one of the most faithful Sherlock Holmes stories I've ever read is amazing. The fact that it has 14 faithful Holmes stories is astonishing. - Geek Twin
The other tales in Encounters of Sherlock Holmes were well told and their authors did a magnificent job of imitating Doyle's style and idiom. As a fan of Doyle and a close reader of the original short stories, I could see one finding difficulty in distinguishing one of the other stories from the canon, a testament to the authors' craft. - Geek Smash
I enjoyed every minute of it and give Encounters of Sherlock Holmes 4 1/2 stars out of 5. - Gnostalgia
Mann's collection, and its contributing authors take the reader as close to the workings of Holmes' mind as you can without actually being him. - IHO Geek
If you're a Sherlockian, you'll want to add it to your collection. - Nerds In Babeland
