Dave Broom is a much traveled freelance drinks writer, who has worked in England, Scotland, United States and Australia in various stages of the spirits, wine and beer industries, at a whisky bottling plant in Scotland, serving at a wine bar in America, and in the cellars in Australia. As an author, he has written more than a dozen books, and twice received the Glenfiddich Award for Whisky Writing. He regularly contributes to Wine and Spirit International, Whisky Magazine, and Caterer and Hotelkeeper magazines in the UK and travels the world spreading the word about his two favorite spirits, rum and whiskey.
