Author Bio
Richard Platt has been writing books for children since 1983, completing nearly 100 published titles. Most books are illustrated information books for children, but Richards has also written children's stories, and several books for adults. Some titles have won awards: including a Smarties silver prize, and a Blue Peter award. Three other books reached the Royal Society science prize shortlist.
