Synopsis

We arrived at the tower at the top of the castle. The door was locked. We can't go into that room, said Ho Hum. Not ever.' Tashi tells Jack about his scariest adventure ever, when the mysterious stranger Bluebeard moved into the old castle. Nobody knew what a monster he was then the wicked Baron's prize peacock goes missing and his poor dog Pongo will be killed unless Tashi can complete three impossible tasks. Anna Fienberg is the author of many popular and award-winning books for children of all ages. Her mother, Barbara Fienberg, an ex-librarian, is chief plot-deviser for the Tashi books. Kim Gamble has done splendid illustrations for many of Anna's books, and for books by other authors.
