Author Bio
A native of southern Indiana, author Michael Rose has lived and worked in Atlanta for over twenty years. He is currently Director of Archives and Research Services at the Atlanta History Center's archival facility, the James G. Kenan Research Center. Having worked for years in the museum, gallery, and archival fields, he has written two previous photo books on Atlanta, one about 20th-century photojournalism, Atlanta Scenes, and Atlanta: A Portrait of the Civil War, documenting the wartime experience of the city and its residents.
