Media Reviews
Dec 09 Prepared to be amazed! This book is about using fabric in lots of fun ways, no sewing required. Many of the projects can be completed in less than an hour. How? The magic is simply fusible interfacing-fabric and interfacing are the two main requirements for all of the projects in this book. Included are instructions for games, toy, gifts and decorations. While the little ones will need supervision, especially with the iron, children from say 11 years up will be able to successfully tackle many of the projects themselves-and wont they feel like a star! A book that could well launch many a long and happy crafting. Australian Homespun
Author Bio
Mary Link spent one summer of her childhood crazily sewing her own stuffed animals. Together with her friend Amy, she destroyed many yards of fabric in the quest to make every critter imaginable. When they ran out of stuffing, they used paper towels and toilet paper. Rumor has it that there are still yards of fabric at her childhood home filled with squirrel-shaped cut-outs. Mary is an educator, artist, wife, and mom. She lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her family.
