Author Bio
Jody Leber has more than 12 years of systems design and integration experience both in industry and government. She comes from a UNIX background, and recently she has been translating those skills to a Windows NT installation for a Wall Street financial firm. Jody Leber is the chief technical officer for Genorff Engineering Inc., where she specializes in mass storage systems, performance tuning, and scalable system administration issues. Jody earned a B.S. in computer science from Northern Arizona University in 1984, an M.S. in business administration from East Texas State University in 1987, and an M.S. in computer science from the Naval Post Graduate School in 1994. Before becoming a founding member of Genorff Engineering, Jody was vice president, Unix systems developer at a major Wall Street financial firm. Jody's career spans a wide cross section of the computer industry, and she has held numerous engineering positions with both the government and private sectors. Jody lives with her faithful dog Freda and cat Murphy in Summit, New Jersey, and struggles with learning the soprano sax.
