Author Bio
Brother Benet Tvedten has been a Benedictine monk for almost fifty years. Entering Blue Cloud Abbey in the years before Vatican Council II, he has witnessed changes in monastic practice that were never anticipated or even imagined during his novitiate. Also the author of How to Be a Monastic and Not Leave Your Day Job, Brother Benet has been his community's Director of Oblates for thirty years. His work first came to national attention when Kathleen Norris wrote about him as her oblate director in her memoir, Dakota.
