Apple and Rain

Apple and Rain

by Crossan Sarah (Author)

Synopsis

Now available in a gorgeous new package, this exquisite novel explores the bond between daughters and mothers, forgiveness, and the healing power of words. When Apple's mother returns after eleven years of absence, Apple feels whole again. She will have an answer to her burning question - why did you go? And she will have someone who understands what it means to be a teenager - unlike Nana. But just like the stormy Christmas Eve when she left, her mother's homecoming is bittersweet, and Apple wonders who is really looking after whom. It's only when Apple meets someone more lost than she is that she begins to see things as they really are. Multi-award-winning author, and Laureate na nOg, Sarah Crossan tells a moving, perceptive and beautifully crafted story which has the power to make you laugh and cry.
