Spots and Stripes: A touch-and-feel board book for your baby to explore (First Baby Days)

Spots and Stripes: A touch-and-feel board book for your baby to explore (First Baby Days)

by Pat-a-Cake (Author), Mojca Dolinar (Illustrator)

Synopsis

Spots and Stripes aids the development of early coordination by encouraging babies to reach for and explore the bumpy, smooth and shiny shapes. Babies will react with delight as they touch and feel the pictures of silly animal friends, while the simple text prompts parent interaction.

Babies are able to react and respond to simple patterns and contrasting colours just a few weeks after being born. As their eyes develop, high-contrast shapes and patterns give newborns something simple to focus on, respond to and interact with. The perfect first book to share with your baby!

Mojca Dolinar (Illustrator)
Mojca Dolinar is a Slovenia-based illustrator and designer. She discovered her passion for illustration at an early age. After studying graphic design at the University of Ljubljana she worked as a designer, and now for more than 15 years she has been working in her own studio as an illustrator and designer. Her sketchbook is always close and she uses it as much as she can. She also tries to be creative with different techniques, mixing traditional and digital tools, hand-drawn and digital illustration. Mojca's inspirations are nature and animals - no wonder she likes to illustrate books for children so much!
