Author Bio

Paul Carter is Professor of Design at RMIT University, Australia. His work explores the dynamics of cross-cultural communication, creative practice, and migrant poetics. He is the author of many books including The Road to Botany Bay (1987), Living in a New Country (1992), Repressed Spaces (2002), Dark Writing (2008), Meeting Place (2013), and Places Made After Their Stories (2015).
