Author Bio
Martin Green is a highly experienced hairdressing practitioner and college lecturer with over 40 years experience in the industry. During that time, he has been a consultant for Habia where he was part of the original team that created the first industry standards. He has worked for awarding authorities such as the City and Guilds, where he was a regional verifier for the South West, and at the Vocational Training Charitable Trust where he wrote a wide range of assessment materials. Martin has won a national JISC Hi5 award at advanced level for Widening Participation in Education in recognition of his achievements in this sector. Martin is author of the Official Guides to Hairdressing. These include Begin Hairdressing NVQ Level 1, Hairdressing and Barbering VRQ Level 2 and Professional Hairdressing NVQ Level 3.
