KATHLEEN KENT is the author of two bestselling novels, The Heretic's Daughter and The Traitor's Wife. In 2008 she was the recipient of the David J. Langum Sr. Award for American Historical Fiction. Her third novel, set in Texas in 1870, is titled The Outcasts, and will be published in October 2013. She currently lives in Dallas and is working on her fourth book.
