Media Reviews
I am really impressed. The layout is very user friendly with substantial information in the text. Excellent examples and detailed case studies. The questions are similar in style to those on the specimen paper and I really like the geographical skills questions. This book is going to prepare students very well. -- Head of Geography, Heathfield Community College
This student textbook covers every aspect of the 2016 GCSE Geography specification in detail. It gives many examples and very detailed case studies. We use the textbook alongside the My Revision Notes book for Geography. -- Geography Teacher, The East Manchester Academy
Easy to use, detailed case studies; strikes the right balance between content detail and images to enthuse learners. Practice questions also really useful as well. -- Geography Teacher, St Mary's and St John's CE School
The balance of this textbook is excellent; it provides adequate coverage on all points of the specification whilst staying accessible to all learners. Each page of the book is developed through a range of clear overarching questions that allow the learner to be clear on what they're studying and also how it fits into the wider topic. The presentation is very clear and gives appropriate weighting to exam questions. The end-of-section exam questions are clearly inspired by the specification and are comprehensive enough to recognise any gaps in students' understanding. The biggest strength of the books is the quality and detail of the case study sections; the choice of case studies and breadth of information mean that this can be the cornerstone of planning substantial elements of the course. This is particularly developed though the Nigeria and Lagos case studies, fully preparing all students for this aspect of the examination. -- Geography Teacher, Peacehaven Community School
