Author Bio
Monica Morcillo Laiz is a Spanish native speaker and an experienced author. She has taught Spanish at the Universities of Leeds and Surrey, and currently works as an independent editor. Simon Barefoot is trilingual in Spanish, Catalan and English and from 1990 was Head of Spanish at Oakham School. He is an experienced author and an Ofqual subject expert. David Mee is an experienced teacher, Head of Department, examiner and author. He was the General Inspector for MFL in Wirral LEA until 2005, and then worked as an MFL independent consultant. Mike Thacker is an experienced teacher, author and A-level examiner. He was formerly a university teacher and Director of the Language Centre at the University of Surrey.
