Linus' wife, Claudia, an advertising executive, is meant to be visiting her mother in Chicago. But according to the FBI, she has just been killed in a plane crash on a flight to Brazil. The man who bought her ticket, and died alongside her, was the vice president of a large pharmaceutical company. Together with two friends and fellow theorists, Linus sets out to solve the mystery. Media Reviews
For a debut novel, A CONSPIRACY OF TALL MEN is very impressive. It was written in 1998 and given the increased currency the internet gives to conspiracy theories, may have been ahead of its time on first publication. It still feels very current. * Crime Review *
