Synopsis

This Activity Book complements the tasks in Facon de Parler 1, the best-selling French course for adult beginners. Each unit closely mirrors that of the coursebook with exercises following each section chronologically, so that students who have only worked through part of a unit can concentrate on consolidating their knowledge of a particular item.

A variety of exercises, including puzzles and quizzes as well as more conventional activities, has been specially devised to practise the material in the coursebook, both in class and for homework purposes. Earlier tasks are more gently paced while later exercises are more challenging and will be suitable for extended practice or to stretch fast learners. 'Coin info' sections provide extra cultural information and units include an FAQ ('Foire Aux Questions') which offers a general revision of grammar and vocabulary covered in the unit. Facon de Parler 1 Activity Book is a valuable component of the course, constituting an essential source of practice and ideas for both learners and teachers alike.
