Author Bio
Caroline Morris has been an External Verifier for several major awarding bodies and has been involved in writing materials and specifications for publishers and awarding bodies. Caroline has a background as a nurse, a Care Manager, and as a teacher and lecturer delivering Health and Social Care. She also undertakes inspections on behalf of BIIAB, OCR, EDI, OU and BAC. Val Michie is a Consultant in Education and Training for the Health and Care Sector, working with a wide range of training providers within the private, statutory and trades union sectors. Val has also worked as a lecturer in FE, teaching health sciences, key skills and Health and Social Care. Her more recent role as a technical author has involved her in writing underpinning knowledge and assessment activities for a number of qualifications, including NVQs, Technical Certificates and BTECs in Health and Social Care. Val is currently an External Verifier for a major awarding body.
