She won the CARNEGIE MEDAL and many other awards, and was nominated for the HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN AWARD. Margaret died in July 2012.
Terry Milne has illustrated both pictures books and fiction for children, working with authors such as Martin Waddell, Penelope Lively and Jenny Nimmo, as well as writing and illustrating her own picture book, LOUIS' DREAM PLANE. She lives in Oxford with her architect husband and two young daughters.
