Synopsis

An Arctic Tale follows the lives of Nanu, a brave polar bear cub, and Seela, a curious young walrus, as they grow and learn how to survive in the frozen tundra of the Arctic Circle. They have been born into a changing world as arctic temperatures rise year after year and challenge their way of life. Although Nanu lives in a white ice kingdom - and Seela, a blue ocean world - their paths cross in a quest to overcome depleting resources and longer summers. Through stunning, close-up photography and a triumphant story, the picture book adaptation and junior novelization of the upcoming 2007 film tells the amazing story of how basic instincts prevail - even on the most desolate places on earth.
