Mia Stanton - gorgeous, refined, but tormented by the most shattering hang-up a passionate woman can possess. Her designs set trends that reap fame, wealth...and the undying envy of the person who should love her the most. Coral Stanton - uninhibited, unscrupulous, untrustworthy. She's Mia's mother, the hellfire editor of a top fashion magazine, a woman prepared to pay any price to get what she wants. Set against a canvas of free love, passion, ambition and betrayal, LABELS draws you into the world of three women determined to stop at nothing to fulfil their dreams of fashion.

Media Reviews
'High fashion and rampant passion' PUBLISHERS WEEKLY 'Labels helps undress the world of fashion...the novel's 60s setting provides a colourful backdrop to the story, the era when designers first turned into celebrities... an entertaining look behind the scenes of the fashion world.' PALM BEACH POST 'Fashion and passion in the London, Paris and New York of the Sixties, the author is a former designer at Nina Ricci and rips a mean literary bodice. The story 'tells all' about the bitchy world of haute couture.' SUNDAY INDEPENDENT 'Former fashion insider Harold Carlton has spilled the beans on the exclusive world of haute couture. A host of flamboyant characters, all obsessed with fashion, against a background of drugs, sexual freedom and the era of the wild 60s... one of those books that you can't put down till the last page.' PERTH SUNDAY TIMES 'A sizzler to keep you turning the pages... dishes the dirt on the world of high fashion.' PETERBOROUGH EVENING TELEGRAPH 'this cult classic's packed with enough passion and scandal to leave your heart pounding. Magnificent.' NOW magazine
