Author Bio
Caryl is a full time children's writer, who also runs creative workshops with local schools. She lives on the top of a windy hill in the Peak District with her guitar-playing husband, two cheeky daughters, one extremely fluffy black cat, a goldfish, four hens and an invisible dog called Paddy. She spends her spare time digging her allotment and organising community projects, and going for long walks, especially if they end up at a cafe. Her favourite place is the local library because it's warm and full of books. Leigh Hodgkinson is an award winning animator, and was the creative director of the first Charlie and Lola animation series. Leigh wrote and illustrated her debut picture book Colin and the Snoozebox for Orchard, which received critical acclaim, and was swiftly followed by Colin and the Wrong Shadow, and Smile! starring her new character Sunny McCloud. Don't Dip Your Chips in Your Drink, Kate is Leigh's first collaboration with an author. Leigh lives on a hill in London with her husband.
