Media Reviews
The clear-cut, gently encouraging methodology avoids blinding you with science and offers great tips on keeping your findings in order, as well as your feet on the ground as your family tree takes root. Well written and illustrated, with lots of useful asides, it comes with a health warning that family history is addictive, which is just as well as this book will inspire you to get started right away. * Family Tree magazine *
It would be easy to dismiss this as `yet another beginners' guide' but this would be unfair. With changes in record access constantly altering, an up-to-date basic guide is always necessary - and this book meets that brief. David Annal is an experienced professional researcher and recognises what the novice needs to know. * Who Do You Think You Are Magazine *
