Media Reviews
[...] a playful, inventive read-aloud tale * The Bookseller *
Sean Taylor knows just how much scariness little monsters, purple or otherwise, can take, and his clever scaling back of the terror as the tale proceeds, is spot on for keeping young listeners on the edge of their seats. Equally Jean Jullien's creepy scenes have a sufficient degree of zaniness to grip but not unduly alarm; and that final twist really hits the spot. * Red Reading Hub *
With its witty dialogue between reader and character, Sean Taylor's playful book is perfect for children of a more nervous disposition, and we love the in-your-face artwork by hot French graphic designer Jean Jullien, too. * Gurgle *
We laughed and laughed * BooksForBoysWeb.wordpress.com *
[...] beautifully cute [...] wonderful to read aloud [...] has a classic Meg and Mog feel to it * Down The Rabbit Hole *
