Author Bio
Atinuke is a Nigerian storyteller. She draws upon her recent ancestry from Yoruba land, England and Wales, and more ancient origins in Spain, Portugal and China, to tell stories from both the world of folktales and contemporary life. She has written many Anna Hibiscus Racing Read titles and has a new series entitled No. 1 Car Spotter. She lives in Wales with her husband and two sons. Lauren Tobia worked as an intensive-care nurse before graduating from the University of the West of England with a degree in Illustration. While studying, she was highly commended in the Macmillan Children's Book Prize. She lives in Bristol and has two daughters and a greyhound called Mickey.
