Author Bio

Berlie Doherty has written many books for young people and has won the Carnegie Medal twice - for Granny Was a Buffer Girl and Dear Nobody. Jane Ray won the Smarties Book Prize for her illustrations for The Story of Creation and has been nominated four times for the Kate Greenaway Medal. She lives in London.
