Vivian French is a professional storyteller and an acclaimed children's author. She has written novels and picture books, including Caterpillar Butterfly (9781406311617), which was shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler Award, and the bestselling Tiara Club series. She lives in Edinburgh. Alison Bartlett's first book, Oliver's Vegetables, was commended for the 1996 V&A National Art Library Illustration Awards. Since then she has illustrated numerous children's books including The Tiger and the Jackal (9780744568783) and T.Rex (9781406301700). She lives in Bath.
