On Your Potty! dealt with toilet training, Eat Your Dinner dealt with mealtime discipline and this third story about little Bartholomew and his guardian George, Get Into Bed , tackles the knotty problem of getting a lively youngster to go to sleep. Will Ba brush his teeth? Nah. Will he go to bed? Nah. He plays up, as children will do, until George bawls, get into bed! . Bartholomew does, but soon he's giggling and wriggling, cuddling and snuggling, sighing and yawning and, finally, falling asleep. Virginia Miller, who also publishes under the name Virginia Austin, has also written Squeak-a-lot , which was runner-up for the Mother Goose Award in 1991.
