Alycea Ungaro is one of the most recognized and influential Pilates teachers in the world. As the owner of New York City's top studio, Real Pilates, Alycea's celebrity clientele have included Madonna, Uma Thurman, Sarah Michelle Geller and many more. She is the author of five Pilates books some of which are available in 17 languages worldwide. In addition to her Pilates expertise, Alycea is a licensed physical therapist, a nutritional consultant and a certified prenatal specialist. She presents workshops nationally and also serves on the advisory board of Fitness magazine. She has been featured in The New York Times, TIME magazine, Vogue, Marie Claire and countless other publications. She lives in New York City with her family.
