What better way to encourage nature into your garden than with a pond? Frogs, insects, birds and more will soon follow the installation of a water feature, in turn contributing to the reduction of garden pests elsewhere. Author Peter Robinson has decades of experience in water gardens and shares it unreservedly in this lavishly illustrated book. Published in association with the Royal Horticultural Society, whose expertise is beyond doubt, this is the definitive guide to the subject. From placement to digging, laying liners or using preformed units, stocking and planting, the subject is thoroughly covered in easy to understand language for gardeners of all levels of expertise. So if you are looking at installing or rejuvenating a pond or even just adding a small container water garden to the patio, this book will give you all the advice, help and inspiration you need to make an attractive, nature-friendly feature for your garden. - Lucy Watson
