Author Bio
Former Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo is one of the most successful children's authors in the country, loved by children, teachers and parents alike. He is the author of global hit War Horse, which was made into a Hollywood film by Steven Spielberg in 2011. Michael received an OBE in December 2006 for his services to literature. Hannah George is a freelance illustrator living and working on the south coast of England. She has illustrated several children's picture books and worked with publishers including Ladybird and Little Tiger Press Series consultant Nikki Gamble is the director of Just Imagine, a specialist resource and training centre for Primary English. She is Associate Consultant at the University of London, Institute of Education.
