Author Bio
J. M. Barrie (1860-1937) was a Scottish author and playwright best known as the creator of Peter Pan. He moved to London as an adult and met the Llewelyn Davies family, who were the inspiration for Peter's adventures. He gave the rights to the Peter Pan works to London's Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital Children's Charity, who still receive royalties today.
