Author Bio
Julia Donaldson is the bestselling, award-winning, former children's laureate. She is best-known for 'The Gruffalo' which has been adapted on stage. For Egmont, she has written 'Follow the Swallow', 'Night Monkey Day Monkey', 'Spinderella', 'Swallows and Spideres', 'The Giants and the Joneses' and 'Running on the Cracks'. Lucy Richards Lucy Richards's illustrations are much-loved. She has previously illustrated Mairi's Mermaid, Night Monkey, Day Monkey and wrote and illustrated the picture book The Magic Sky. She lives in Bristol. Garry Parsons has previously illustrated several Egmont Banana books, including the previous book about Seamus and his ghostly friends - 'The Football Ghosts', 'The Wrong Kind of Bark' and 'A Family Like Mine'. Garry works on magazines, newspapers, advertising, packaging and of course children's books! The first picture book, 'Billy's Bucket', Garry illustrated was nominated for the Red House Children's Book Awards 2004 and for the Stockport Children's Book Awards. Garry lives in South London.
