by Sue Hendra (Illustrator), Sue Mayfield (Author), Sue Hendra (Illustrator)

Synopsis

These are the three mini fun and engaging stories about creatures from under the sea by Sue Mayfield for Egmont's Green Banana series. Wobbly Jellyfish Jellyfish is very wobbly. She's too wobbly to skip, too wobbly to play hide and seek and too wobbly to swim in cold water. But can she be brave when she needs to be? Prickly Sea Urchin Sea Urchin can't play with everyone else - his prickles hurt them and he punctures their footballs. But then he meets another sea urchin and finally he has a friend to play with! Fabulous Fish Fabulous Fish is fabulous in every way. He has fabulous spots, fabulous fins and is fabulous at everything he does. But no one want to play with him because he boasts all the time. Can Fabulous Fish learn that everyone is fabulous in their own way? Green bananas are divided into short, simple stories to develop reading techniques over a number of sessions. They are suitable for NC Level 1 readers. Green Bananas are carefully designed with education in mind, supporting children's understanding of how to read longer books. Green bananas only use one clause in each sentence and rely on dialogue and speech bubbles to encourage reading aloud.
