Author Bio
Bel Mooney is a journalist and author who writes for children and adults. She grew up in Liverpool. She has written columns for many major newspapers and made programmes for radio and TV. Her Kitty series of books have been loved by many children over the years, and were based on her own daughter originally. She lives in Bath. Susan Hellard is a prolific and well-known illustrator. She has illustrated the Dilly the Dinosaur Banana books (written by Tony Bradman) and many animal stories by Jenny Dale, to name a few. She also writes her own picture books. She lives in north London. Series consultant Nikki Gamble is the director of Just Imagine, a specialist resource and training centre for Primary English. She is Associate Consultant at the University of London, Institute of Education.
