Media Reviews
Surgical texts are notoriously difficult to get your head around; this book is pitched at the perfect level for undergraduate medical students. An excellent study aid, brilliant revision aid, and all-round must have for your clinical education and general interest in the subject. Medical Student, Leicester I would strongly recommend this book for any medical students with an interest in surgery and MRCS candidates. It's clear, logical format makes it a joy to read either cover to cover or to dip in and out of as needed. Medical Student, Keele This is the best core text available for undergraduate study of surgery. If you only buy one textbook, it should be this one- it will be a welcome companion in preparation for many surgical exams in addition to the routine work of the surgical placement. Medical Student, Oxford This is the only book you need for surgery as a medical student. Reading it cover to cover gives you a good overview of the topics in surgery, whilst still offering enough detail to impress even the most demanding consultant. I love this book. Medical Student, St. Georges This is probably the best surgical text, both as a revision aid and general reading - perfect for undergraduate topics. The Placebo Effect, HYMS Gazette
