Synopsis

William has caught football fever. His symptoms are so severe that his sister's afraid there's no cure. He eats, talks and dreams football, and he's driving his sister crazy! Alan Durant has written over forty books for children of all ages from pre-school to teenage and in a variety of styles. GOAL! (a bind-up of four Leggs United titles) is published by Macmillan in May 2006. Alan frequently visits primary and secondary schools to perform, give talks and run workshops. He is passionate about reading, football and Manchester United! Kate Leake studied Children's Illustration at the North Wales School of Art and Design and was runner-up in the prestigious Macmillan Book Prize 2004.
