Author Bio
Piers Harper originally studied Ancient History and Classical Civilisation, but as he had no real wish to be an archaeologist, he followed his love of drawing and became an illustrator instead. He has now been illustrating children's picture and puzzle books for 10 years; his books include Checkmate At Chess City (Walker Books, 2000) and If You Love A Bear (Walker Books, 1998). He lives in Cumbria, where he can indulge both his hobbies - mountaineering and eating chocolate! In his illustration work, he enjoys experimenting with different techniques - Snow Bear is the first book in which he has combined watercolour paint with digital artwork.
