Author Bio
Piers Harper studied Ancient History and Classical Civilization at Sheffield University but as he didn't want to be an archeologist, and he had always loved drawing, he decided to be an illustrator. He has now been illustrating children's picture and puzzle books for 10 years including CHECKMATE AT CHESS CITY (Walker Books, 2000) and IF YOU LOVE A BEAR (Walker Books, 1998). He lives in Cumbria, where his hobbies are mountain climbing and eating chocolate! In his illustration work, he enjoys experimenting with different techniques, and SNOW BEAR is the first book in which he has combined watercolour paint with digital artwork.
