Author Bio
Anna Davidson lives in Half Moon Bay, California. She arrived in the United States from Britain 14 years ago with her husband and ten week old son. In her luggage along with nappies and bottles were embroidery silks and fabric. She had fallen in love with the colourful simplicity of cross-stitch a few months before her departure from Britain. All through the lonely months of settling in a foreign country, her embroidery was a great source of comfort and a wonderful outlet for creativity. The difficulty of finding cross-stitch designs that she wanted to stitch spurred Anna into designing her own pieces. She has achieved a finalist's place in two DMC competitions and has had her work featured regularly in stitching magazines.
