Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt was a German physician, physiologist, philosopher, and professor, known today as one of the founding figures of modern psychology. In 1875, Wundt was promoted to professor of Inductive Philosophy in Zurich, and in 1875, Wundt was made professor of philosophy at the University of Leipzig.
