Media Reviews
'Tigers are becoming extinct in the wild. A world without them prowling through the forest of the night is sadly not unthinkable. Indy was fortunate to have lived much of her life at Paradise Wildlife Park. Enjoy her adventures and please give a thought to her wild cousins.' Chris Packham (Wildlife Presenter) 'Tiger are an endangered species because of human activity. Sadly, there are more tigers held in captivity than living in the wild - like Indy, with her indomitable spirit and insatiable curiosity.' Miriam Moss (Children's Author) I thoroughly enjoyed working with Indy on Jonathan Creek Enjoy her adventures. Indy is a real star! Stuart Milligan(Adam Klause in Jonathan Creek). A very descriptive book filled with colourful pictures and easy to follow text. The Indy Film Star picture book gives a tigers view of events, inspired by Martin's real life adventures with these magnificent animals. Also included are some very interesting bullet point facts about big cats for children to learn. Jake Wood (Max in Eastenders)
Author Bio
Martin Hill was born in London and after studying Science he went into the I.T Industry for several years. He then became the co-founder of an educational resource to encourage children to read, his life turned round when he was given the opportunity to attend a photo shoot at Paradise Wildlife Park with a young eight month old male tiger cub called Shikar. Since that day Martin has had the privilege of being involved in hand rearing several big cats, including one very special female tiger, called Indy . Martin took Indy on many adventures in and around the UK but once she had returned to Paradise Wildlife Park and was snuggled up for the night Martin would sit next to her and make notes about the events of the day. Those notes have now been turned into stories and Indy and Martin would like to share those adventures with you. This first publication is about a young female tiger called Indy who found herself in front of the T.V cameras whilst making the popular T.V series Jonathan Creek alongside Alan Davies and Stuart Milligan.
