Author Bio
Brian Fagan has been sailing since he was eight years old and learned his sailing in Britain's North Sea and English Channel. Since 1967, he has been a Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. During the past thirty years, he has sailed thousands of miles in Europe, Mediterranean waters, the Caribbean, and along the Pacific coast. He is the author of several well known sailing books. He describes himself as a devotee of ample scope and good shelter - and of a good night's sleep as a result.
