  Previously called FFARCS Part 1 Practice Exams , this is designed to be a comprehensive guide and to be essential reading for all FCAnaes Part 1 examination candidates. Written by authors with experience of teaching anaesthetics, the multiple choice questions in the book are similar in type and level of difficulty to those in the official college exam and should thus provide excellent revision material. By working systematically through the book, candidates should be able to identify weak subject areas where further reading and study are essential. The contents include two multiple choice question papers (120 MCQs) based on material relevant to the exam, plus correct answers, teaching notes and a self-assessment scheme.
