Author Bio
Michio Hoshino -- born in Japan in 1952 -- graduated from Keio University, Department of Economics in 1975. Since 1978 he has been taking photographs of Alaskan wildlife. His work has appeared in major publications in Japan and in the United States, including Anima, a Japanese natural history magazine, Smithsonian, Audubon, and National Geographic. In 1986 his fist book, Grizzly won the annual Anima Award, the prize given to the the most distinguished wildlife photography.
