Synopsis

This story of a spirit doctor is an account of how the author, stricken with threatened blindness, consulted the medium George Chapman. A former Aylesbury fireman, Chapman was purported to be controlled by a famous consultant surgeon, William Lang, who died in 1937. To the author's astonishment he was completely cured where traditional practitioners had failed, by this long dead surgeon operating on his spirit body. Hutton decided to investigate further. Of Chapman's successes there is the story of five-year-old Jonathan Bell who was cured of advanced leukaemia, Mrs Fletcher was released from the pain of kidney stones, Mrs Joan Harris suffered from seriously impaired vision and her sight was restored, and many more. These accounts of miracle cures have come from patients who have been for a consultation with the spirit doctor, and others who have been cured by distant healing .
