  In November 2009 the International Prize for Arabic Fiction organised a workshop for eight critically-acclaimed writers from Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. This bilingual volume brings together the eight pieces produced during the workshop and showcases the creativity of this younger generation of Arab writers.
