'his tale of a cat too posh to catch mice flows along smoothly with a good come-uppance for his snobbery' -- Evening Echo * Evening Echo *
'an utterly delightful story. Deliciously enhanced by wonderfully smudgy illustrations that, with the use of only a few lines, absolutely bubble with expressive emotion' -- Books Ireland * Books Ireland *
'A simple story ideal for children starting to read on their own and the raw illustrations help to keep the children's interest.' -- The Irish Independent * Irish Independent *
Author Bio
Patrick Deeley is a teacher and poet. He has three books of poems to his name from Dedalus Press, with a fourth due next year. Tatyana Feeney grew up in North Carolina, where she spent much of her childhood reading and drawing. This developed into a love of art and particularly illustrations in children's books, so she gave up her abition to be a fire girl and studied Art History and Illustration. Tatyana now lives in Trim with her husband and two children. She has illustrated several Panda books with The O'Brien Press and is the author and illustrator of Socks for Mr Wolf. Tatyana is also the author and illustrator of Small Bunny's Blue Blanket, Little Owl's Orange Scarf, Little Frog's Tadpole Trouble and Small Elephant's Bathtime.
