Media Reviews
A Python-esque, ridiculous sort of silly, mixed in with no end of really bad punning, alongside some more complicated gags Forbidden Planet 20111011 A set of agent profiles at the end of the book, along with a tongue-in-cheek page on how to draw Agent Beesley, round off a rather nice little package for kids Down The Tubes 20111021 Its characters are brilliant, and the stories are a great read for children and parents. The words are very descriptive, fun and sure to extend and challenge a child's vocabulary and understanding of it without turning them off literacy Tidy Books Blog 20111109 Turner is quite brilliant at pacing his comedic set pieces and the running gags with the various agents' distinctive personalities are an absolute joy! Broken Frontier 20111114 The tongue-in-cheek adventures will have children (and adults) rolling around with laughter and, more importantly, enjoying reading for simple pleasure -- Benjamin Scott Carousel
Author Bio
James Turner started making comics as soon as he was first able to hold a pencil. His acclaimed web comic The Unfeasible Adventures of Beaver and Steve won tens of thousands of followers online, and he is currently writing the scripts for a series of books about the adventures of a group of half-dog, half-bean creatures called Mameshiba. He has sworn that he will not stop making comics until every bizarre character, every unfeasible adventure, and every terrible pun has been uncovered. But he might stop for a bit if someone offers him a biscuit.
